  1. Incorporation

    Ankur Biochem Private Limited (ABPL) established its operations in the alcohol and ethanol manufacturing industry on August 11, 2008. The Company was established with a clear vision to build a scalable, efficient, and integrated distillery business supported by strong infrastructure and long-term growth planning.

  2. Commencement of Operations

    ABPL started its commercial operations in August 2012 with a first production capacity of 60 KLPD Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), which operated together with a 2.5 MW power plant. The Company achieved this milestone to build its operational base, which provided energy security and production efficiency while it enhanced its standing in the distillery sector.

  3. Capacity Expansion

    In April 2018, the Company expanded its ENA production capacity by an additional 40 KLPD, which raised the total ENA capacity to 100 KLPD. The expansion demonstrated ABPL's increasing market presence together with its capability to grow operations according to rising demand.

  4. Forward Integration

    ABPL established a bottling plant, which has a monthly production capacity of 2,25,000 cases, as its first step in implementing its forward integration plan. The facility, which produced Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Indian Made Country Liquor (IMCL), enabled the company to create additional revenue sources through value-added product development.

  5. Major Expansion Initiative

    In 2020, the Company started building a new 100 KLPD grain-based distillery, which included constructing a 9.8 MW power generation facility at its current location. The strategic investment increased ABPL's manufacturing capacity while establishing its dedication to responsible energy use and environmentally friendly business practices.

  6. Entry into Ethanol Production

    ABPL started its commercial production and sale operations for ethanol on July 31, 2022. The Company achieved its milestone by entering the ethanol blending market while supporting national biofuel initiatives and increasing its sustainable energy production capacity.

  7. Phase Completion

    The expansion phase of commercial production began on September 1, 2023. The Company achieved this milestone through the successful implementation of its large-scale capacity expansion project, which enabled it to meet increasing market demand for both ethanol and alcohol products.

  8. Current Capacity

    The current operating capacity amounts to 1100 KLPD, which includes 200 KLPD ENA production and 900 KLPD ethanol production. ABPL operates through complete infrastructure development together with its own electricity production facilities, which enable the company to function as an essential industrial entity that can grow its operations.
